Kukicha “AA”

A Japanese green tea made not only from the familiar tea leaves, but also containing a generous amount of stems and twigs. Visually, it resembles evenly cut, roughly one-centimeter pieces of yellow-green tea material.

Its aroma is reminiscent of sencha, while the richness and depth of the liquor are closer to gyokuro. The aroma is full-bodied and slightly sweet.

The liquor is distinctly green, rich in chlorophyll, floral sweetness, and vegetal notes reminiscent of fresh spinach. A distinctive Japanese tea with a unique character that may be especially appealing to those who enjoy pronounced vegetal flavors.

Kukicha offers a distinctive taste, is naturally rich in antioxidants, and contains relatively little caffeine. It is a satisfying, nourishing drink that works equally well on a cool day or in warm weather.
