Palo Santo is the name of a tree, translated from Spanish as "holy tree". It is also known as ibiocay. It is no coincidence that this particular type was burned - it contains guaiac oil, which is used in perfumery and cosmetology. The smell of the sticks is similar to the aroma of cedar and incense. No additional flavors are used in the sticks - this is a tree with natural resins. You need to set it on fire, wait about 15 seconds, and then blow it out - the board will smolder for a couple more minutes. If you need more smoke - let the stick burn a little longer, Palo Santo does not smolder for long, it is more of a "volley incense" - it fills the room with aroma due to intense but rapid smoldering. The aroma of Palo Santo is calming and relaxing. The smoke also repels insects.
