The floral aroma of this spring-harvested Iron Bodhisattva of Mercy truly lives up to its name. The cross-twisted leaves in various shades of green feature small golden stems. Brewed with water at around 80°C, it produces a clear light-green liquor.
After the first infusion, the aroma develops beyond its floral bouquet, revealing a hint of sorrel-like tartness. The taste is refreshing, light, and delicate, with a smooth sweetness reminiscent of hops, lilac, kiwi, and green grapes. The sour notes are expressed through accents of basil, sorrel, and violet.
The overall state is calm and balanced; the tea relaxes the body, relieves fatigue, and quenches thirst.
