Zhen Shen Oolong "AAA", 2025
Classification: Taiwanese oolong tea with strong heating and sprinkled with ginseng powder.
Organoleptic properties: The dry leaf smells like glued book bindings and bread with jam, and the steamed leaf resembles melon ice cream. The taste is enveloping, warm pumpkin-melon with a viscous aftertaste of ginger with honey. Strong heating (Gao Ho) manifests itself as hot caramel with a crust, gives relief and density of taste. Coal is not felt at all.
When to drink: A warming oolong for every day. This is a sweet syrup of happiness for cozy companies, women's clubs and cold evenings.
Pros: The natural taste is made up of three components: high-quality Taiwanese oolong, gentle heating, and ginseng powder, not licorice.
Cons: The appearance is unpretentious. Because of the sprinkling, the sheet does not unfold completely. And the price is not for everyone.
Fact: Before frying, the leaf is sprayed with ginseng root infusion, and during frying, it is sprinkled with ginseng powder. To reveal all the properties, brew with boiling water and leave for 30 seconds to 3 minutes.
