Fo Shou Gao Ho "AA" (Buddha's Palm of Strong Warming)
Fo Shou - Buddha's Palm - Northern Fujian oolong from the Wuyi Mountains region. It was picked and processed in early May 2016 in clear weather. Master Zhang, having assessed the quality of the leaves, chose medium heat for it - which creates a balance between taste and aroma and allows the tea to be stored well. The tea was picked by hand 手工, then underwent classical processing (withering, shaking, fermentation, twisting, shaking, heating) and heated three times over coals.
Fo Shou is sweet. Its aroma is rich, lush and kind. Its taste is honey sweet, with a hint of honeycomb wax. The melody of the taste is rich - there are berries, spices and a bit of citrus sourness. The tea is easy to drink, juicy. The variety got its name for two reasons - a large round leaf looks like an open palm, and also looks like the leaves of a citrus plant, whose fruits are shaped like a hand with long fingers, this plant is highly revered by Buddhists and is also called Buddha's Palm.
