Milky Oolong “Caramel”, Nai Xiang Tie Guan Yin “A”
A milky oolong made from Tie Guan Yin, a famous oolong from southern Fujian. The leaves are infused with natural flavorings that enhance the tea’s naturally creamy character.
The flavor is rich and smooth, with delicate vegetal notes and a gentle sweetness. The result is a refined dessert-like profile that has made this style of oolong a favorite among many tea lovers. It makes a lovely gift for a colleague, mother, or friend. For many people, their love of Chinese tea begins with milky oolong.
We recommend brewing it in glass or porcelain, as these materials do not absorb aromas and allow the tea’s character to fully unfold.
Gongfu style:
Use 5 g of tea per 100 ml of water at 90°C. Brew in short infusions, starting at around 10 seconds and gradually increasing the steeping time up to one minute.
Western-style brewing:
Use 3–5 g per 500 ml of water and steep for 3–4 minutes. With this method, the tea can be brewed up to twice.
